Contest Details:
The contest requires you to use your Referral ID, which you will find on the main page of your User Control Panel to get new members to sign up at TechEnclave. Your referral link is unique for you. No other member will have the same link e.g, my link is http://www.techenclave.com/forums/register.php?referrerid=3. Whenever a person registers on TE by following the referral link, the person whose referral link they followed gets one referral credit to his name. You can check out how many people have registered following your referral link by viewing your profile page.
Thus, all you have to do is to pass your referral link to as many people as you can and make them sign up at TechEnclave using your referral link to register. Remember, your chances to win depend on how many people signed up using your referral link. So, more the better. You can advertise your referral link in emails, your site, blog, sigs or any other place you know of. You can even ask your friends in college, but hey we leave the thinking part to you !
Also, your referrals will be counted ONLY from the contest start period. Any previous referrals will not be counted. That means only referrals made on and after 1st December 2005 and upto 10th January 2006 will be valid for the purpose of this competition. We do not have any restrictions or obligations for the number of posts your reffered members need to make but incase of a tie, the combined post count of all your referrals will be the decider.
Winners can select any of the prizes from above mentioned choices and their chances of making the choices will be as per winning order.
Contest Rules:
Important: TechEnclave will closely monitor your referrals and the IP addresses of people that register will be compared with known proxies. We have a in-built script that checks for known proxy IP's. If at any stage of the contest period, we find that people using proxy servers are signing up using your referral link, we will omit such people from your referral count.
Apart from the above you are also required to adhere to the following guidelines:
1) The contest is open to all members of TechEnclave except Super Moderators and Administrators. Moderators and other staff members not actively involved with the contest are free to take part.
2) Incase of a proxy registration being detected, a PM will be sent to you mentioning the same. At the end of contest, the proxy registered members will not be counted in your total or can lead to the disqualification of the participant citing Unfair Means/cheating in the competetion. The decision of the co-ordinators in this regard will be final.
3) Please allow upto 4 weeks after the contest end date for delivery of the prizes. TechEnclave takes no responsibility for any damage/losses during transit. The web hosting prizes have been sponsored by Web1 Solutions (http://www.web1.in) and they will bear all responsibiity of providing the hosting. TechEnclave will not be responsible for any issues about their service.
4) TechEnclave.com Staff reserve the rights to change/modify any rules of the contest and the contest at anytime, with or without prior notification.
5) The decision of the staff will be final and binding.
