The drop down menus agains "Forums", "Classifieds" etc taking too long to appear.

Shouldn't they be instantaneous?
 
Because of how the backend has been implemented, you will need to make a post on the forums before market will appear. This is a one time process.

Had to implement this way in order to take advantage of a dynamic cache we have at the backend.

Can see all Market threads etc, only issue is with PM space, and also, it would not login with my old password! So had to do a reset

, and before anyone says that I forgot my password, shut up

Nope they should not be. It is designed to be slow so that they dont appear just by a casual move over movement. They appear after a few milliseconds. Its a usability guideline too.

In that case shouldn't the "More" button drop down when the mouse hovers over and not on-click? Seeing as first four do it when the mouse hovers.
 
Could not edit the above post, giving error, so making a new one.

Edit:

2 'X' on the Latest offers in right hand side of http://www.techenclave.com/index Wheras the recent topics and popular tags show only one.

Both are doing the same job. of minimizing the advert.

Also, A lot of space is wasted @right hand side, so if possible, make it longer if needed.
 
The new forum is awesome. Totally worth the downtime. Thanks guys.

Market is invisible. That's the only problem I've noticed so far.
 
It will take some time getting used to this new look, but is there any way I could revert to the old look, with new functionalities ?
 
I will fix the pm issue tomorrow. There is a lot more work to be done on that front.

Another bug. When i go to edit my settings and cancel the changes, if any, it reloads the settings page again. Could it be a new member issue? Can anybody check?

Finally, in the index page, IMO the drafts section should be shown as private, and although I cannot open the draft, I can see that #Crazy_Eddy has posted in that thread. Just FYI.

Nvm. just me being noobish.

How do i delete my post. I can swear there used to be a button to do that somewhere.
