Believe you me, this movie will not be a Flop.
All the mindless rickshawallahs and shopkeepers will make sure that the film is not a flop (if not a hit).

AS FROM THE TRAILERS ITSELF IT SHOWS THAT THE MOVIE IS A SLAPSTICK COMEDY AND IS MADE ONLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT..AND SINCE THE MOVIE IS A REMAKE OF PETER SELLERS AFTER THE FOX(ONE OF MY FAV MOVIE)...EXPECTING ATLEAST TO B HALF OF WHT IT WAS....AND I GUESS THE ROLE WILL SUIT AKSHAY.
AND AM NOT BOTHERING ABOUT THE TWITTER REVIEWS BECAUSE THERE ARE SRK FANS (or SRK HIMSELF)

this film has been Inspired (oh really?) from an italian film 'After the Fox' released in 60's, wonder thats why farah took so long to make her 3rd movie after OSO, must have gone through loads of movies to get script :bleh:.
BTW 'After the fox' went down in those days, lets see whats up with TMK

So this year we won't be able to see any Blockbuster Bollywood film
I had some hopes from TMK
YPD will also not be so good
This year all anticipated Bollywood movies were flops or atleast not hit - Break Ke Baad, IHLS, Anjana Ajani , Aisha, Action Replayy , KHJS, Housefull, Khatta Meetha, Peepli Live
Only G3 was good upto some extent , Rajneeti had a good story and Once upon a Time IN Mumbai had some good script
Rest all movies were total Carp inluding Dabangg
I hope Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Dhobi Ghat are good ones

The much ballyhooed Sheila ki jawani item number didn’t send us into a sextasy. It was slickly done but not seductive. Truth be said, we didn’t get much of a lift seeing Katrina thighs and legs or to see her repeatedly spread her legs crudely and obscenely in the song.

Why is anyone surprised? The trailer and constant banging of it on TV was good enough hint that movie would be crappy. Forget trailer, the fact that it's Farah Khan's movie and Akshay Kumar in lead role are big enough hints to steer clear of it. She hasn't made a single good movie in her career (yet, for some reason earlier ones have been hits and she thinks she's one of the best directors in town) and Akki have been on streak of bad over-acting and superflops since some time now. I wouldn't even waste my bandwidth downloading it or my time even if someone gives it to me.
Unfortunately box office collection or overall money the movie makes is used to consider it hit or flop.
And all this show-shining was done just to sell the satellite rights.
As we all know hardly in a month or two new movies are seen on channels like colors and ndtv imagine.
Reason for same is before the release just for single screening rights are been sold at exorbitant price.Hence they cover partial loss.
One thing is sure farah khan wont loose a penny even if its declared biggest dud of the year.
Say the movie is made in 75 crore budget.
20 crore would be made in music rights.Another 15 crore is made in single first screening of the movie on channels.Similarly other screeing in coming months on different channels would fetch another 15 crore.In short 50 crore already made before the movie is released.
Plus distribution rights.Dvd rights.Satellite screening rights in foreign countries etc etc.Royalties.Before the film even releases already 100 crore is sure shot the movie might be fetching .Hence it wont be called a dud.
