Did you compare these TW to the PL-11/PL-21 ? How do they compare to those? I'm eager to know.

I would say that the PL-11 and 21 do not give you the detail in music compared to Twinwoofers. Other than that, the bass in Twinwoofer has a better texture and quality compared to the PL11 and 21.

I would not be comparing them side by side for a few days. As of now, I think TW is technically better, but that statement comes with a few caveats.

Thanks for letting me know this. I've heard about the bad quality cables used with the PL-11/PL-21. I'd wait for a detailed review from #[member='esanthosh'] before I head on to flipkart for buying these TW though.

I tried the burn-in page on the Marshmallows but it keeps on stopping automatically and I have to click pause and then click resume again. Would've been better if we could download all those 1 minute noises and play them using our MP3 player instead.

BTW, I'm happy with my JVC Marshmallows, though my ears still itch from time to time for some unknown reason and I have to take the phones out and plug them in again. I saw that they're now available in the deals for 100 bucks lesser than what I bought them for a few weeks ago from PristineNote.

Guess what guys? I was recently seeing a review from someone who recommends the Tekfusion TW for gameplay and movies. I just plugged these to my Alienware laptop and wala - Just finished watching Iron Man 2 on my laptop with bluray player and I can say that i'm truly impressed with the surround effects. First off, i got truly impressed by the comfort for 2 hours. This has given me a slight idea that these do have a pretty good crispyness and soundstage. Sound effects are coming into play now :) Furthermore, i tried equalizing the bass, which is much more softer now, and i can say i'm blown away with the movie sounds.

I had never experienced a movie with this kind of sound experience before! Totally thumbsup to the TW!

Will post more when i get my Xbox360. Looks like an awesome combination Tekfusion TW & Xbox360. Will post my views after playing some games with them!!

regarding the narrow soundstage of the tekfusion, #[member='esanthosh'] has already given a hint in his beautifully explained review of the soundmagic iems on the random iem thread . totally agree with him. very rightly described as "bright" and "in your face".

LOL soundstage is not that narrow. Also, i think the soundstage of these beat the Klispch s4

and sennheiser cx300

Just bought Twinwoofers today. It was worth the investment. Looks are awesome, and so is the sound. Bass has a very nice feel to it, not overpowering, not absent, but just at the right levels barable to the ears.. I use it with my iPod and Live with Walkman and they sound a lot clearer and bassy. Sound can be adjusted according to presets and equalizers. Can listen for longer hours without getting tired.

Will post more after using it for longer hours.

You will need an EQ to lower the treble because these TWs will make your ears hurt. Bass, IMHO, is very mild compared to PL11. Think of yourself sitting in a rickshaw with the music loud. This is TW.

Every IEM require EQ to give you a personal taste. EQ is good, gives you more control over the tonal experience. Besides, most high-end iems do have the crispiness in sound. if you're new to it, it'll take you some time to get used to. For me, the treble is just right. It has to have that nice, sharp sound so that you can enjoy the music even more. There is an outstanding seperation of mids from highs (you may notice this after more hours of burnin), that you won't get in other iems of this price range. In fact, this type of clarity and seperation can only be found in klipsch s4 and the like.

no doubt sound clarity is important and in a high-end IEM, i do expect sound clarity. though im not sure that treble alone equals clarity or if it is necessarily the signature of a high end IEM. however, i do listen to alot of rock music, and with TWs what i hear is a greater emphasis on the higher freqs while the lower range is not as full or warm or "present", which is what i like. the symbols are LOUD and defined.. so is the snare drum.. but the bass drums lack the kind of impact for a rock listener. so i guess it depends on ones taste and preference in music, then choose the IEM.
