I find fighting games dull, tedious and I’m pretty damn bad at them, so bar the fun titles such as Smash Bros and Power Stone (Dreamcast), I steer clear, hence the lack of info about Tekken on BGB, but the title is pretty big for the PSP, so here goes.
The game will have online functions, but no actual wifi rumbles. The Namco website will feature top “ghost data†of the best Tekken fighters for you to download and fight against. I’m not sure how this would work, it’s not like a racing game where the ghost data just goes off for a spin, but a two way interaction between fighters.
None the less, this system has been used in the arcade version of Tekken for some time now where players can check their fighters status via. Mobile Phone. It all seems a little crazy to me, but we’ll see how it pans out.
The release for this game is June 26 in America and July 6 in Japan, expect the title in Europe around mid-july.
