^ TBH it has a very thick bezel around the screen which doesn't look 'stylish'.

And not to forget that its running on Brew OS which isn't widely used. Its a pretty old platform, let's see how capable is this new version but I would suggest you to wait and watch for reviews if your are really interested in it.

But ideally an Android handset would be good enough for your needs.

Do update here whatever you buy.

I would rather suggest you to go with Galaxy Y Duos. Get it from eBay and there's also a coupon posted by someone in the eBay India thread (JETEBAY001) 5% discount upto 750.

This should help you in getting it in your budget of 8k, maybe a couple of 100 more but at least it'll better than the ones from iBall and like which you are currently looking at.

my question is,in how many hrs battery gets down ? if we are using only basic Functionality like calls, SMS, Headphone Music etc.. !!

Ya may be he is using lots of applications which are running in the background..Task Manager may be good here to increase battery life..

Anyways thanks for the help.. May be following settings help us to increase battery Life..

1) Min. Display Brightness (10-20%)

2) Auto Rotate Screen = Off

3) Animation = No Animation

4) Screen Timeout = 15 sec

5) No Live Wallpaper

6) efficient use of Task Manager

Any Other settings Plz mention here..

or if u have any suggestion Plz discuss here..
