TES V: Skyrim - Discussion Thread

thank you!!i had totally forgotten about the wait option.i have just started out so i only have the basic fire spell and one lightning spell.(and they don't illuminate shit)i tried increasing the brightness level and raised it to the max only to find that i could see enough to continue my game but everything became almost like "negative".it's really a shame because i remember that without mods,i could at least continue the game(it was still pretty dark).but i won't remove the mods,they are just so sweeeeet!!
 
But as i remember there is moon at night always ... maybe u can find a mod out there for improving the moonlight or something.

I read somewhere that some of the lighting effect mods make the nights in the game pitch black making it impossible to see. Maybe tweaking the settings in those mod files may help, not sure though.
 
Was working on a enb for skyrim colours came out as close to what i wanted.

Elder Scrolls online looks like another derivative WoW clone. The only reason people even care is that its set in the Elder scrolls universe.
 
Since WoW serves as the base, most of the MMO's will be derived from it..
Anyway haven't tried WoW so will try this if it is good.. :p

An update on the Bethesda Blog states, “We’re less than 24 hours away from unleashing Skyrim’s next add-on Dragonborn on Xbox Live. It’s one of our most ambitious add-ons ever and we’re excited for everyone to play it.


“We’re also happy to announce Dragonborn will be available on PS3 and PC early next year.


“And we’re still not done – we look forward to sharing more Skyrim news next year.”

Just started on Skyrim a few days ago .... prolly close to 20 hours or so in (anyone know where you can see this ? (Played time, cant see it with other char stats.)

Anyhow I can already tell this is gonna be one of the most epic games im gonna play its gonna be better than The Witcher and Dragon Age Origins. It reminds me a lot of The Witcher , vast open lands (Probably a lot bigger than witcher was.) Installed a ENB mod and WOW game looked stunning before now it just looks like art. Did not have the time before for this game but those who love long well detailed games and play games to play them and not just finish the game look into this for an epic ride.

Cant wait to get a good session in later today, gotta work on figuring out how to enchant weapons and stuff with the soul gems and look into armor improving and stuff.

THE ELDER SCROLLS HAVE SPOKEN !!!!

IIRC you can see the hours you've clocked when you go to the Save/Load game option and hover your mouse over the saved files. It'll show you your play-time thus far.

It truly is an epic game, enjoy it! :)
