Hope you make an Indian BF2 or Crysis 2 server.

And BF3 server when BF3 comes out :-)

Re: We are testing a game server - we need an administrator who can help us set it up

Maybe he meant TF2 :P

Re: We are testing a game server - we need an administrator who can help us set it up

We'd need help with all of those ... so what do you guys think is the best idea ... coz right now we've got a quad core Xeon 5 series... running a virtual machine... would each game need its own IP or can one server with one IP handle multiple games on a single VM? or do we need to put one dedicated server and run multiple VMs on it?

Re: We are testing a game server - we need an administrator who can help us set it up

1. No you don't need different IP's Same Ip is fine just using different ports which can be set.

2. I would suggest one dedicated server. You can host multiple Games without the use of multiple VMs, but please check this out, as I have only hostes one server at a time.

3. Try and host the 2 common games played around : TF2, CS: S, BF2 etc and you will get an idea. Maybe we can even give feedback on how its going, or performing.

Hope you get it running soon. My friend paid for a dedicated server for BC2 from BSN still awaiting refund as they were having some technical issues :@

I dont know about the others but i'd say 100 is decent enough... when I used to play on SG and Malay servers the ping used to be more than 150 at all times .... we'll try something with the routing table as its our own data center...

just did a quick test from a friends mtnl delhi connection ... results
