So I tried to use net on my Panasonic P11 phone from my PC but there isn't any option for it.
Here are some screenshots.
The first screenshot was sent by a friend who could use net using the same method on his Xolo phone. The last 4 screenshots are mine.
What could be the problem? And solution?
I want USB net, not bluetooth or anything else. Aircel 2G net sucks, getting too many disconnections on my voda 3G. I have no wifi. So USB net please.

PS: this phone seems to have a lot of cons now I think about it. So you can expect more threads about this phone from me. >_>

i cannot replicate your scenario with my machine+phone... so cannot pinpoint the issue.

i thought it could be an issue with your PC as i've seen that couple of network cards do not support Wi-Fi hotspots (virtual networks) and therefore, we cannot share PC's internet with a phone. now, i am not sure if this Wi-Fi tethering issue will affect USB tethering as well. all of my machines support virtual networks, so i cannot replicate your USB tethering issue.

your phone looks alright to me.
