The story was like the world was collapsing after ATOM and HYDROGEN bomb wars.
The main protagonist was a young boy(11-12), and there was a girl too who I guess were a pair.
It was like a post-apocalyptic world, with many portions (islands) unscathed or rebuilt after many years.
There was this EMPIRE or something, with huge STONE Citadels or such in their side of the globe, loads of WATER(sea, oceans).

Really want to watch this show. Watched in wayyy back childhood, suddenly came back to my mind and getting desperate kinda to watch it again.
The show itself I believe is very old, 2000 or earlier(earlier most probably)
