News The age of Bharat, did we just get our very own black myth: wukong?

I want this to be good. I hope they take their time and deliver a polished title, it doesn't need to be groundbreaking but it should be polished and fun to actually play.

to sell a video game, you should market it around its gameplay, visuals, mechanism , or even story.. tech advancements or such features.

but in two minutes trailer, your puch line is "bharat mata ki jai" is kinda worrisome and even disrespectful.. its not a marketing term.. it has its weightage and importance.

2m marketing monologue , all in cringe english marketing terms.. heroes-villains-war, only to end with "bharat mata ki jai"

I also see hints of other games like God of war and the Prince of Persia, assasin creed. Little ingenuity, but I'm happy they are making an attempt in a very competitive market.

I saw the early alpha gameplay of a game called Project 11A around 2-3 weeks ago, which is also supposed to be India's first AAA game lol. These guys have the same claim. Both of them are combat-based games with the general idea of fighting demons. I don't know if they release these demos to create hype and get investors, although considering Amitabh Bachchan and Amish Tripathi are involved, I don't think money is something they're after.

I dislike early alpha gameplay like this because the game is centred around combat, and yet it looks and feels so clunky. The main focus seems to be selling graphical fidelity and using our "culture" to grab eyeballs, which is something that I'm personally not a fan of. I've stopped buying into the hype of Indian game launches like this. Mumbai Gullies seems to be yet another disappointing example where 4+ years have gone by, and yet the demo they showcased a couple of weeks ago seems to be horrendous.
