1)Nvida or Ati (less driver issues)
2)performance
3)Plz suggest a reliable Brand (for Nvidia and for Ati)

Thanks :)

i wud say nVidia.
hav used both and i've found nVidia's driver support to be better.
for nVidia XFX & eVGA r reliable board partners.
just my 2 cents.

Ask a stupid question get an stupider answer. :)

Right now AMD has better chips at mid and high end. But thats for the time being through the last few years, depending on the price points both Nvidia and AMD had better offering respectively.

However Nvidia did have better driver support for Linux, last time I had checked (been 2 years since then..) For windows AMD actually has become more frequent and quicker in updating the drivers, but cant complain for Nvidia either. Used 2 Nvidia and 2 ATI chips, currently am on an extremely VFM Nvidia chip (9600GT).

you have a 9600 gt...nice ...which brand?

have always had nvidia cards but the ati cards now are damn good and will upgrade to ati for my next upcoming build.

i have preferred xfx always and its a good thing they make ati cards as well.

not going to buy one now...simply waiting for zotac Rma :S

yup evga/nvidia is the best. be prepared to pay a significant premium for evga gpus in india though.

if you're a gamer, then nvidia drivers blow ati away. all year i've been hearing about people having troubles with ati drivers for games, and ati can't even manage to implement basic features like custom per-game profiles. for example, ati users are stuck with with an almost 3 year old bioshock profile for every single unreal engine 3 game that has released since then. where ati wins is with the hardware performance and value for money. buying an hd5xxx card right now seems kind of pointless considering the performance numbers and available apps, but the awesome hd4xxx series are very well priced and perform well too. they're just held back by drivers.
