Microsoft security essentials, recently rated 2nd in a test..

I am trying this out under Windows 7.The setup is only around 4MB and surprisingly that's the same amount of ram it takes up in the background. Let's see if it works at doing things it's supposed to do or not.

Yeah it downloads definitions through an update..
It takes abt 25mb out of my 1gb ram..fair enough i'd say..
Its really good a detection..

I use SmadAV (portabled) and McAfee:hap2:..SmadAV was made in Indonesia..I use it coz some worms/trojans/viruses couldn't removed by another AV..so many computers at Indonesia attacked and got infected by Indonesian "plagues"..

My Preference wud be
1) Quick Heal + Spyware doctor
2) eset nod 32 + sypware doc
both eset and quick heal are equally good....but i feel quick heal is slightly more powerful...

Quick Heal is totally non sense.

I remember calling the guy at their lab up for support on 64-Bit.. because their firewall of total security wouldn't work.. And they're like we are working on making the firewall work on 64 Bit Vista.
