apparently, the 1070 mAh BL 6C can be used instead of a 850mAh BL 5C. had to remove the grey sticker around it , and shave some plastic off one edge as mentioned in the guide to make a perfect fit, but otherwise fine.

My 2310 is already wearing a 1110 skin- the shopkeeper was wondering how i got a colour display on it :P . the battery cost 300, but i took off the sticker , and fit it right in front of the dealer. he was like :O and gave me a 50 rs instant discount saying that it was because I wouldnt be claiming warranty. He asked me if i did this to all my phones :rofl:

am charging it now. will post this coming weekend how long the battery lasted, but will be using only the handsfree just in case it decides to explode :P

this can be done on any cell using the stock BL 5C ?tell me how much more does the 6C last compared to 5C. ..if the difference is very much noticeable i might try it too..

will post this weekend re, need to find out how long it lasts the later i post , the better :P Am not sure though if its a genuine one though :(

yup, it should work on any cell with the BL 5c :)

this is cool if it lasts quite more then BL-5C.
 
damn chinese battery. died yesterday. it lasted less than my BL 5C.:@ Will get one from a nokia dealer and update
