Lil’ White Lie
I’m at a dead end road,
Don’t know where to turn to anymore.
My lifes screwed up.
He’s over there ,
And then back here again.
I’m fallin’ apart,
Back and forth and upside down.
I’m losing control,
Stumblin’ all over my feet.
Jus’ a lil’ white lie,
But it all goes down from there.
Jus a lil’ lie,
Goin’ all over the place,
Standin’ it’s ground.
Don’t know what’s true anymore.
Jus’ a lil’ lie.
Goin’ around in circles,
Don’t know where I’ll end up,
It better be away from here.
Can’t take this pain,
It’s too far from what I need.
Why’d ya have to go and make a friend of me?
Jus’ a lil white lie,
But it all goes down from there.
Jus a lil lie,
Goin’ all over the place,
Standin’ its ground.
Don’t know what I can trust anymore.
Jus’ a lil’ lie.
“I’m sorry†is what I hear,
“I’m sorry it’s true My Dearâ€,
“I’m sorry it ever happenedâ€.
Well,
I’m sorry I don’t believe it!
Got no one to turn to
Got no where to hide
Jus’ sittin’ here alone
Will have to do just fine

I got a raincheck today
Does this mean I only call
If it's pouring
Or
Is the message metaphorical
And I call when it seems
work like an increasing rain
threatens to crest my mind
When may this check be paid
In full
Or shall it instead accrue
Interest
Until it can be used
many times over
Perhaps time shall tell
Or fade
Forgotten tears
As before
Never seen
Among it's countless peers
Does this mean I only call
