The "Everyday" show-off thread !

Traded in S22 Ultra for this beauty. Much better hand feel thanks to the flattened edges and less curved screen. Battery life about 25% better - getting around 5hrs SOT from 85% to 25% (using light performance mode) compared to roughly 4hrs before. Cameras top notch as usual, screen feels brighter and smoother even though it's the same 120hz and the speakers are better. Also the audio output is somehow louder via the Apple Dongle - I had to nearly max out the volume on the S22 Ultra (volume was usually at 14/15), whereas for this 12/15 is loud enough.
Oh also, this phone can share wifi networks over hotspot - no longer does the network need to be mobile data and wifi switched off for using hotspot! Not sure how long this feature has been around but this is a great feature for sure.
Substantial QoL improvements which are worth it imo.

Edit: the battery life is closer to about 40% better, not 20%. Started the day at 100% and was out shooting photos for about 2 hours at max brightness, apart from using location for navigation and max brightness for most of the day. Moreover, it was about 32C throughout with the phone getting very warm but it did not slow down at all. The S22 Ultra would have likely died by the time I was home at 5 in the evening, but this one still has 21% left past 11PM - after a day with more than 6h SOT with what would register as a heavy usage day. The 22 Ultra would barely last 5h from 100 to 0 under the same circumstances. The S23 Ultra is what the S22 Ultra should have been.
i had the 22U and got the 23U recently because of terrible battery life and mostly because mom wanted the 22U. The battery life for me is not 40% better but more than twice better.

My 22U used to give me 2.5hr SoT normally and with power saving mode on all the time, all apps in deep sleep, i could stretch it to 4 - 5 hrs. i get above 5 hrs without power saving mode at all on 23U.

Did you have the Exynos version of S22U? I used to get about 4.5h SOT from 85 to about 20% on the 22U with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version. This was with 5G disabled and most apps in deep sleep but no power saving mode. Really wish Samsung had given the light performance mode option to the 22 Ultra, might have helped at least a bit with battery life.
On the S23U, I am getting 6+ hrs of SOT with medium-heavy usage from 85% to 25% with light performance mode and most apps in deep sleep, also with 5g disabled. However, the battery life has increased massively for heavy usage - I still get 5+hrs of SOT compared to barely 3.5-4hrs on the S22U.

Got the Samsung Grip case for the S23 Ultra with a few Dragon Grip strips for extra grippiness. Installed UV tempered glass as well, although it has already started peeling from a corner after just a week of use. The case isn't even touching the glass fwiw.
Anyway, beautiful and the most premium feeling case I've had, plus bought it from Amazon Warehouse so I paid only $18.5 incl. taxes thanks to $5 coupon code during prime day and $5 coupon for first warehouse purchase (usual price is $40 before taxes). Came in brand new condition.
i had the snapdragon version.
That's a shame

For how much they took s22 ultra bro.. thinking of making the switch to s22ultra. And will s22 ultra being out of warranty affects the price?
Hey I'm in the USA and I got $750 as trade in for my perfect condition S22 Ultra. They don't care about warranty as long as the device meets all their requirements.

This arrived last evening from Amazon...

Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL ROG Full Tower

Unboxed it this afternoon and thankfully everything is all good. Last evening when it was delivered it was raining hard outside and the box got a little wet. I immediately wiped it dry on arrival. Inner packing by Lian Li was very secure. Amazon didn't double box the case and it was shipped by them as seen in the default case cardboard box. There are no scratches, dents on the surface of the case and all the glass panels are intact without any damage. I made an unboxing video nevertheless and checked the case and glass panels with a flashlight just to be extra sure.

Now just waiting for a couple of small things to arrive this week and will then transfer my gaming PC into this case from the Corsair 780T. The 780T will be re-commissioned for a NAS setup with multiple HDDs.

Source: Amazon India
Price: 21k

Cheers! :)

Eagerly awaiting your review on the case esp. cooling performance etc.

I will surely post the thermal performance in an air cooled rig inside this case mate! Hopefully will be able to setup the rig over this weekend! :)

The brushed aluminum finish on the side panel and the top is so beautiful! The build is top notch and every bit impressive as expected from the house of the Lian Li. The curves, bends in the chassis frame is so nicely done, no sharp edges at all. Really reminds me of my previous LL case the PC-A70F full tower and how well crafted it was.

Isn't this a 'designed for AiO' case? Eager to know who air cooling works in this one.
