got this ghost case from dbrand pretty decent and a lot better than spigen or esr ones tbh loving it ordered it directly to my address they used aramex to ship [ yeah had to pay full customs a big blunder

Bro, these aramex ****s.. literally refused to deliver my dbrand fold6 case because my delivery address wasn't the same as my Govt ID's. afaik its still with them.got this ghost case from dbrand pretty decent and a lot better than spigen or esr ones tbh loving it ordered it directly to my address they used aramex to ship [ yeah had to pay full customs a big blunder

Will never ever recommend or use Aramex to anyone.
Dbrand shipped me a new case via DHL which took a good 1 month extra.

Aramex does not take internet or any utility bills? I face similar issues with Fedex and DHL. I just edit the address with a PDF editor on the internet bill and it goes through.

I am currently having a similar experience with ARAMEX for a parcel shipped from china. They reject the KYC documents at the slightest of mismatches. I told the customer care to show the goods and kyc to customs and let customs reject it. They are not ready to understand at all.

They will not budge.. i fought with them for a full month before giving up.
Best bet is to forge something like @kalph09 suggested and send to them.. otherwise forget the package.
Unfortunately the package is marked for vaibhav's computer cases pvt limited. So they are asking for GST number. How can I provide them GST number if the company does not exist. So the package is stuck. I tried to explain them that I am an individual and it is an individual purchase. But they are understanding.

When you make a purchase in the name of a PVT LTD its not an individual purchase anymore irrespective of what the intent it.
what were the duties on the order?

You should have thought on it before giving a name of a co instead of an individual. Now you have to provide evidences but in your case you have to let go the package, unfortunately!
lighter than spigen, no dust ingress[spigen or esr used to have these cutouts near camera from which dust used to enter in this its completely sealed off] best case I have used.
paid 2700 in total to customs.

2700 ? kinda glad that aramex didnt deliver now..
I paid 500.. the intial shipment was through DHL but was delivered by the local postman/indiapost and he only asked for 500 at the time of delivery. Order value was 4200.

Post covid ordering from Dbrand has been shit considering the duties that come along. I use to order quite frequently from them pre covid. No duties ever faced.
yeah dbrand declared full value to aramex so. yeah it was a bad decision from my end to order directly to India could have used USA route
yeah it was zero customs earlier but now they have shifted to fedex and aramex and they charge full customs

When Aramex refused to deliver i told them to not use aramex for the replacement shipment specifically.
they used DHL for that shipment.. no one asked me for any documents.. the post man showed up and asked for 500 custom amount.
I guess for future purchases at the time of orderring you can specify to use DHL instead, customs can be saved to a huge extent.
However having said all of this.. i believe the replacement shipment was marked 0$ (i think.. i'm not a 100% sure.. so that could have been the reason my customs was low)
