What is this? Has no one played it out here? Please, for the love of everything in the name of horror, just play this game.
Mikami is genuinely put a great deal of thought into making this sick twisted game. The characters may not be the brightest bunch, but the game will surely creep the hell out of you. You will die; a lot. Even on normal, I was sometimes lost of how to clear a particular section as it turned out to be quite challenging. However, with the right amount of upgrades in place, you'd be just fine. The only downside was the performance issues. When I played the game in it's "broken" state during the release, it practically butchered my GTX560Ti. I believe the performance issues have been fixed now, or so they claim. I constantly got 60 frames in the DLC which I just fired up. Even with the letterboxing turned off, I have no issues maxing the game out on the 970. So if anyone is on the fence with this title, don't be. There is tons of gore, various areas which would probably give you nightmares and of course Laura's entry. Heck, it even has a good story, provided you're able to follow and piece together the events.
