Reconsider your hard disk choice! Add 200 buks more and get 40 GB more!
For 4000 bux, you get a Seagate 160 BG Barracuda PATA!
Get that one instead this SATA one!
Rest everything seems normal! :eek:hyeah:

Oh yeah! How could I forget! That cabby of yours is very cramped! Consider buying another cabby!
 
the mobo will be A8N-E-Deluxe :) not K8N-E-Deluxe

and try to get the VIP ZB01 case. much better than super lanboy. and cheaper too.

the money u saved can be invested for a DVD writer :)

This is Overkill for this rig man... If u hav to get a Antec, then get the SLK 1650(SL350S), which is 3k...
Also, Gainward is definitely a good choice but did u find abt the Leadtek? wats d pricetag on that??
 
I have an Antec SLK3700 AMB and it is much more roomier than the Super LanBoy. And it has got an Antec SmartPower 380W included in the case for 5750/-. This PSU is quite enough for whatever you are planning to run, unless you want to do SLI or some serious overclocking. Suggest you change the cabinet and use the 3250/- for something else.

BYW, what about your video card? Did you finalize on it? That cost is not included in your list. That would be an additional 12-14K, right?
 
Yup the SLK 3700AMB will be a much better choice than the Lanboy. I think the vid card u finalised is the gainward 6600GT isnt it ? One more thing, rather than a combo drive go for separate drives as its much better that since you can copy on the fly as well and combos dont have that great a rep. The prices difference b/w the two will be a few hundred bucks.
 
Wow, that a lot of questions, let me answer all of them.

First of all its a ASUS A8N-E, not K8N-E, my mistake.

Hmm the SLK 3700AMB is a good choice. I will put an extra fan and a transparent side panel which will cost me 1100 for the fan, will have to check the price of the panel. Also it comes with a 350W SMPS not 380. Will that be enough for my config ? Don't think so.

I will go for the 120 GB SATA only the 160 is priced at 4400, 600 bucks more which I am investing in the Wireless combo.

Everthing is right now on a tight budget, so I will check for all prices and repost again. Still feel the Super Lanboy looks killer.

What do you guys think about the Thermaltake RAM LED heatsinks for 750 ?

Do keep me updated, the cabinet has become a dilemma. I will ask the dealer of he can give me the cabinet w/o the power supply and I can add a 400W supply.

Also I will decide about the card a little later when I am back in Goa. 90% percent Gainward 6600GT GLH.

Yup that will be about 13k more plus UPS, Broadband Modem, etc.
 
dude take 160gb sata ncq seagate,costs abt 4200 , why do you want wireles, even if you want when you can spend so many grands on cabbiie ,how does 500-600 on hd matter?
 
get the seagate 160gb sata.

& the 350w antec smart power will be more than enough for your config.

i am using 350w antec smartpower on my pc & has given no probs yet. u can check the config in the signature.
 
personally i feel spending that much on cabinets is justified..
there are a lot of good local options available..
one is cabinets from zebronics..

i called up and enquired some prices..
the XCLIO is abt 3450/= with a 400W zeb PSU
handy 111 is about 1300/=

also sunny mentioned the VIP zb01 case...heres the link, not aware of the price though..ppl in mumbai can call up and find out

go with the antec 350 PSu instead of a zebronics or anyother 400 W psu, coz the Amps ratings matter and not the wattage..
 
i bought asus a8n-e for 9400 today,smc doesn't have it and might not have in the future as well,said company discontinued.

also,k8n-e dlx is 754
