Calorie intake (balancing the nutrients) plus exercise is the key to stay fit, not where you eat.

Are HRM watches really worth the price?
I was a regular jogger/runner for a year before I slacked off and I am looking to get back to that activity. After starting off a few weeks back again, I noticed I ran farther than when I started the first time around a year ago . However, rate of fat loss seems to have lowered. I was planning on getting an HRM to spruce up the intensity and for the novelty factor as well. Wanted something basic and came across this listing on Playgroundonline.
Shall I go for it? Is the brand reliable? And how long can the batteries on these things last assuming a weekly use of 6-7 hours?
I know what it is, I don't use it.[DOUBLEPOST=1389669135][/DOUBLEPOST]Stuff I bought on sunday. This is a huge space saver and will really help during workouts, heck even my mom thinks this is a wise buy.you use deca ?
have done a cutting cycle last year with good results. planning to do one again in end feb to get shredded for the summers. im having a really hard time finding some sources for the other good stuff .
Could you suggest weights that are cheaper and rubber coated like the ones you got? Perhaps useful for both dumbbells and the Olympic size rods?I know what it is, I don't use it.[DOUBLEPOST=1389669135][/DOUBLEPOST]Stuff I bought on sunday. In NCR price ranges from Rs. 70 kg to rs. 200 per kg or even more for hammer strength weights. Mine are olympic size plates and don't fit in dumbbell rods. All of these are made in china and are more or less of same quality. The ones with bush are slightly costly like the ones i got. If you want plates that you can use for dumbbells also then those are available too. But bear in mind the standard plates have a lot of ****in torque and many people hate that including me.Could you suggest weights that are cheaper and rubber coated like the ones you got? Also looking for an incline and decline bench. Do give your suggestions.

Woah in how many months did you lose the weight? An update to this thread... My current weight is 82.5Kg. . Feels good when I check my weight everyday morning.
I do have a general idea of diet that restricts my daily intake of around 2000 calories or under it. A strict non veggie who munches meat 3 or 4 times a day, now 3 days per week veggie. .
The other 4 days, only 1 time i will have meat. Dinners are always something light. Biscuits, fruits, cheese, pista or cashew. combination of sorts. Try to keep it around 200 to 300 calories.
2 hour gap between meals. around 4 to 5 litres of water everyday.
Friday dinner... guilty pleasure.. Will have whatever I want. From 118Kg+ to 82.5KG as of today..feels good. .
No exercise for around 3 months now. Cold..chilly temp...Cant go for run. But do walk around 4 to 5 kms a day. Need to get back to running.. 5K, here I come.
Nice. Hard work paid off, now stick with new eating habits forever.Started around June 2013...
260kg is a lot of weight. As the amount of weight you can take increases, the speed at which it increases decreases. So the graph goes up fast at the beginning and then starts tapering. You have nothing to worry about there. So, I started with starting strength this week. At this time I'm just working on getting the form right. My gym has about a max of 260kgs how long do you reckon it will take to work up to that limit? I find bar+5kgs is stressing me plenty (bar + 10 for squats).
260 kgs in plates is something only the elite will ever touch. most will never even reach half that in their life. took me nearly 3 years to squat 120 kgs .So, I started with starting strength this week.
