Nominees for The Game Awards 2014 are selected by a jury of 28 international media. In some cases the jury is provided advanced review code of upcoming games in order to meet the Game Awards 2014 judging deadlines. Games must have been commercially released by Tuesday, November 25 to be eligible for awards.

Game of the Year- Bayonetta 2, Dark Souls 2, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hearthstone, Shadow of Mordor.
Developer of the Year- Blizzard, Monolith, Nintendo, Telltale, Ubisoft Montreal.
Best Independent Game- Broken Age: Act 1, Monument Valley, Shovel Knight, Transistor, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
Best Mobile Handheld Game- Braverly Default, Hearthstone, Monument Valley, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Threes!
Best Shooter- COD: AW, Destiny, Far Cry 4, Titanfall, Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Best Action/Adventure- Alien: Isolation, AC: Unity, Bayonetta 2, Shadow or Mordor, Sunset Overdrive.
Best RPG- Braverly Default, Dark Souls 2, Divinity, Dragon Age: Inquisition, South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Best Fighting Game- Killer Instinct: Season 2, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Super Smash Bros. Wii-U, Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Best Sports/Racing Game- FIFA 15, Forza Horizon 2, Mario Kart 8, NBA 2K15, Trials Fusion.
Best Online Experience- COD:AW, Dark Souls 2, Destiny, Heathstone, Titanfall.

FANS CHOICE:
Most Anticipated Game of 2015- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Batman: Arkham Knight, Evolve.
Esports Team of the Year- Evil Geniuses (DOTA2), Samsung White (LoL), Ninjas in Pyjamas (CS:GO), NewBee (DOTA2), Edward Gaming (LoL).
Esports Player of the Year- Matt "NaDeSHoT" Haag (COD), Xu "Fy" Linsen (DOTA2), Martin "Rekkles" Larsson (LoL), Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund (CS:GO), James "Firebat" Kostesich (Hearthstone).

Best Shooter- Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Best Action/Adventure- Bayonetta 2
Best RPG- Dragon Age: Inquisition

Hmm....my choice would be
Developer of the Year- Blizzard.
Best Mobile Handheld Game- Braverly Default because I'm a sucker for anything which is anime and Hearthstone for its smooth experience even on portable devices.
Best Action/Adventure- Shadow of Mordor. I haven't played it, i want to. I love games which have RPG/Action/Adventure feature in them. But this here pisses me off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle-earth:_Shadow_of_Mordor#Pre-release_controversy
Best RPG- Braverly Default.
Best Online Experience- Heathstone.
Most Anticipated Game of 2015- The Witcher 3.
Esports Team of the Year- Evil Geniuses (DOTA2). NewBee is being known as a very racist team in the whole dota 2 community. Not such a good rep for esports team of the year.
Esports Player of the Year- Not in the list but I would say, Artour "Arteezy" Babaev. He was one of the main reasons why EG was able to reach top 3 at the TI4.
