I loved this player. But recently I upgraded to Win 7 and whenever I open a video with KMPlayer, all the controls vanishes or don't respond. Although the keys work. The KMPlayer version is 2.9.4.1435 i.e. the latest.

Another one, using WMP 12 and ffdshow with vobsub filter, subtitles(srt) are shown twice i.e. one in the bottom overlay area and another in the left-bottom corner. :huh: Without using ffdshow, subtitles are not shown.

i am using the X64 version of KM player and the latest package.everything runs fine.just reinstall

if that doesnt work try Filmerit to remove codec errors

For the second problem, just try disabling Subtitles when right clicking in WMP12. This should resolve the left bottom side subs issue and u'll be left with just the one from ffdshow. :)

1st uninstall both wmp and km player ...2nd...then install wmp ...and after that 3rd ...install km player.....

@abhi Thanks, it worked. :)

@nish_higher

I tried that but couldn't find the 64bit windows version of The KMPlayer. Can you post the link ? :)

I had the same problem on my 64bit Win 7, whenever i tried to play anything it would simply hang!

This solution may be strange but it worked for me. I uninstalled the Win 7 drivers for my Nvidia card and installed the latest Vista drivers instead. After that, everything works like a charm :hap2:
