Guys... This thread is more directed towards reviewing the game rather then mentioning what game you are playing... Do a little review about the gameplay/gfx/story blah blah blah...

Here's the link to the thread where I've posted my opinion abt CoD - EfBB : http://www.techenclave.com/forums/chronicles-of-riddick-great-game-6022.html

As for Far Cry, I dont think any explanations are required as to how good the game is. The graphics are awesome, gameplay is good, storyline is also good. Special mention has to go to the way the levels have been planned. You get a preview of the mutants in one level, face them another 1 or 2 levels later, then they suddenly disappear and you're left to fight the mercenaries and then, all hell breaks loose - You gotta fight your thro' waves of mutants to escape. Absolutely great game and keeps me engrossed.

Forgot to mention the experience the thrill and pleasure that I got from playing the PoP series. I just couldn't wait for the trilogy to complete !!! Though I must admit that Warrior Within and T2T couldn't match the brilliance of Sands of Time, they still did manage to have enough variety and keep you engaged. Strong point - Storyline and good enough graphics and the puzzles to some extent. The gameplay was also solid and Warrior Within let's you unleash the anger within the Prince with a superb variety of combo moves. All in all, a good series.

Brothers in Arms will earn a special place in all WWII FPS' because of its authenticity and for throwing the shoot-them-up and move forward style of gameplay in the bin. AI is fantastic, graphics are superb and the gameplay is just too good. Must play with the cross-hair disabled to get the actual feel of the fighting. Absolutely brilliant game. Waiting for Hell's Highway now.

cs 1.6 & Ut2004

rather the last REALLY gud sp i played was..............................farcry, replaying Thief2 these days, any1 knows any gud mods fr it or some other goodies???

Sorry Switch ... I thought these games were old to be reviewed ..

Prince of Persia Warrior within - gfx is good, but mostly same acrobatics (jumping here and there. Story line - I didnt understand anything and not bothered.

Cricket2005 - Gfx is great, Good to play if you like Sports/Cricket ... Twoplayers mode is still better.

am playing Hitman Blood Money right now....amazing game....not the usual run and gun type of gameplay. Lots of planning needed. I honestly would not have found all that if it wasnt for guides.ign.com :p

The graphics are really good. It gives you the feeling of playing in an open environment but sometimes, it gets stupid.... like I am at the edge of the pier and I cant go off the edge. It is like some invisible wall is holding me back.

And some of the locales are gorgeous(one level where you have to kill the Senator's son in his penthouse in the Rockies mountains)....beautiful house and beautiful babes :p

The sound is quite good. I havent played this game on surround sound, so cant say antyhing abt the positioning....

But there are too many glitches in the game..... The controls are not very smooth. It feels wierd. Takes a bit of time to get used to the controls. And if you need to escape, there are times the ESC key does notn work !!! I need to hit it abt 3 times to make it work....

Sometimes, this game can get eally irritating. And the save game system sucks !!! If you save a game and EXIT the game totally, you cant resume from the save point. IT is useful only if you get killed later in the level and need to resume the game..... That really really sucks....

And the story line is also very neat.... The in game cinematics are really well done. The story is shaping up to be very goood....

All in all, a recommended game ... :D

Playing Jagged Alliance 2 for the nth time. This time only with my own IMP merc and Maddog as free mule to carry the spare ammo. JA2 lovers will know what I'm talking about :p

In JA2, you play as a gun for hire whose sevices are availed to free a country from the clutches of an evil dictator. Ok, so you first create your customised mercenary for a one time payment and then hire a band of mercenaries online (on renewable contract) and begin the action. Take on the dictator's army, hire locally available mercs, free a town at a time, train militia, keep the mines (your income source) under control, go for side quests to improve the local populace's confidence in you and so on. Its turn based while in battle which reverts to free roam mode when no enemy is in sight. Each mercenary has charater stats which determine his ability to, for example, fire accurately, repair a gun, apply first aid, interact with an NPC etc. And these can be improved over time.
This game never fails to impress me with the variety of gameplay possible. Sometimes I really wonder why this amazing turn based strategy-rpg never even gets a mention, although it has all the now cliched elements that are flashed with every new release (which rarely matches this blurb); co-operating and flanking enemies (not just some scripted events), a massive array of weapons, destructible environment, great rpg elements, the greatest voice acting ever...and come to think of it, the gaphics are not bad at all.

Its too complicated for me to review here, if interested just pay a visit to this nice Gamespot Review

I just hope they sort out the publishing troubles and bring the next edition soon.

Edit: Oops ... the latest news from the developer doesnt sound too good :(
