Hey alll,

I know.... A very odd time to make a posting.... even more odd considering the setting..... Mid morning on Monday...... well the reason warrants it.......

For the uninitiated, i stay in BTM Stage 2, Blore..... the Forum is hardly 2 kms away from here..... and my best friend and my fiancee (:P) were dieing to see the "Superman Returns" So we decided to take the plunge and bought 3 night-show tickets (all others were sold out for Sunday.)

Since Autos charge insanely after 9PM, we decided to take a "short cut" along side the big BP petrol pump to Forum. + 3 riders..... while going there was no issue....... so we thought, cool, Rs 50 saved (for Auto)

Movie over, we are all floaty and all.... fine and dandy.... returning via same route.... and guess what? Police check. My friend was driving.... i was sitting behind him.... my gf behind me. He panicked and drove throught the blockade.... they caught up with us and banged my friend up...... slaps, lathis and everything. Then as soon as we offered money.... they smoothed out...... a lot of words later, they emptied my purse (Rs 700 in it.) My friend luckily didnt have any cash on him.

Total cash:

Tickets = Rs 150 x 3
"Fine" = Rs 700
First time encounter and lesson learned = Priceless!

Bad luck mate.. Next time, remove 700 Bux, and keep only 200 Bux :P.

And what made you think that driving through the blockade was a good idea ?? :no: :no:

I am sympathetic slightly towards you...but I cant help feeling that you deserved it...

Of course, I am glad that nothing more happened to you guys.... The only thing you lost was money....thank god for that.

i got lost on the way while going to sathyam:O, had to roam arnd for extra 5kms and then finally reached the theatre.
 
FYI, Saiyan is a Chennai born & bred, yet lost his way to Sathyam, a landmark in its own right :P

sheesh....Karan...700/- ...you need to learn some bargaining skills :P

hehe, i know the way from velachery, but that time i was in Ashok Nagar, went through kodambakam with my friend, lost my and went to Ritchie St.:S.

OT: @czar post the pics of the chennai meet na, did u take any??
