Hey guys.
I'm posting a short review of the DELL SE-198WFP widescreen LCD monitor. Its relatively a new entrant into the DELL 19" category and is ver similar to its counterpart E198WFP except tat this one sports a plain rectangular base contrary to the split base as seen in most of the other high-end DELL monitors.

Comments:

I luv dis monitor. Since M a total gaming freak, I insisted on this deal from Raghu who offered d same to me @ an Exceptional price.

Gaming is an ultimate nirvana with HL2:EP1 looking extravagant with HDR and SM3. Its a total eye-candy. No dead pixels. Watching movies as well.

Though only vertical swivel is possible I dont consider it as a flaw since height is pretty fine as compared with VS1930 series which has a tad hard adjustment.

DELL offers a std 3 yr warranty (can be increased on an extra payment basis)though Raghu was able to give 5 yr wrty at no extra costs. :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Current Price:

DELL site: Rs. 12900 exclusive of shipping, excise duties and 3yr warranty.
As offered by Raghunandan: Rs. 10500 inc of 5 yr warranty and exclusive of shipping.

Eh... M sorry.. Could only manage with this one and a couple of pros and cons... Besides its been 2 months since I've been using the monitor..

C'mon guyz...

Review wasn't bad at all.. Infact, great..

Continue the good work gannu_rox ..

And enjoy your buy, Myself thinking of picking up this beauty for my desktop.. Can't afford a 22 incher... So this one probably...

The E198FWP is black.. Is that the only difference?

Good effort, but since its your first review may I add a few thoughts.

A review is about your thoughts and observation of the product, they could be contradictory to the general opinion too (i.e. it is very popular). In the time you had it, maybe you notices some quirks, like the wire gets in the way, or it topples over easily, or something about how nicely or badly it was packed, how easy it was to set up (or difficult) etc etc.

Maybe you edit your first post to add lil knick knacks like this, and we look forward to your next review. :)

Good luck.

Ok.. Anyways I'll be puttin up a review of somethin else.. Will look into all of ur valuable suggestions.. Thanx.. :)
