The Classifieds section is done pretty well. I myself did not like it in the first place but got the hang of it later on.
Each and every section can be distinguished which avoids the classifieds becoming bulky.
As for things like reason location it is already added and secondly i do not think some one needs to post anything about it. PM is the best way to communicate. There is also an option of Ask a question.
Sale or Wanted is clearly indicated.
Period of sale increased to 30 days , If someone wants to look for some game you do not have to look into the whole Gaming section there is a different sub section of games. So it makes things easy.
Things needed to be changed -
Font size of price should be increased so the buyer can easily sight it.
Change the color to a more brighter color other than green so it can strike the eye in the first place.
Below the name and avatar of member Posts should be there.
Line spacing between classifieds. Pictures can be removed as one really will go inside the thread to see the pictures attached.

the only things i would like in the new classified section are:
1. there should be a tag or anythng like that which can easily distinguish between wtb and fs threads.
2. the most important one is that members should be able to comment, which would help in getting better prices and might help with frauds..

Am not sure what you are suggesting here. But no plans to go back to the member market, we'll do our best and improve the classified as much as possible.
Stoopid Admins and this blasted Classifieds
Some major issues:
- I need to fill in all info
- I have to click a button that confirms I've uploaded 2 pics as per rules
- I cannot let my friends bump my thread saying +1, good deal, i would buy if i was not going to the moon
- I have to close/open trades myself
- If I put up an ad and disappear without closing it, the threads will automatically expire after 10/30 days and Spacescreamer cannot PM the mods complaining why the threads are still open.

What i meant was to integrate the CS and the MM.
Right now the features of Classified section are good, and the look/UI/ease of use etc. of the MM is better, so why not simplt merge them into one ??

^ the look and feel. the colored FS / WTB prefix. And the serious thing that i am missing is the bump feature.

classified looks better than the crappy old MM ... admin you are doing good .. dont listen to noobs.
Why do you need a prefix when the same information is available in the listing.
Help me understand the use of the bump feature. Why do we need it. What makes my deal more important than any other deal that I would want to bump it to the top? Anyone who is looking to buy a Mobile Phone will definitely browse to the correct cateogry and look up all the deals there.

Now it that was true, we wdnt have had the bump concept in the first place.
A buyer would look up according to his/her abilities. Have seen noobs' way of searching as well and missing the deal in plain sight, and the seller also looses out in the process.
I didnt knew about the missing bump feature (how + why).. but it actually serves a purpose.

The objective of bump was to bring out the active threads to the top. In the current classified the bump does not really serve a purpose because an expired sale anyway moves to the end. Anyway the way the relisting was supposed to work was bump the sale upto the top. We have that disabled till it gets fixed.
A noob will very easily miss the sale even after it is bumped. So I do not agree to this theory. Only one item can remain at the top, rest have to follow.

See it this way, currently nobody can 'bump' their thread up.
Also, we have a lot more sections now. Currently, there is no section with more than 1 page of listings.

You very well can ask questions in public. Just click on the listing > Click on Questions > Click on 'Ask a Question'

2. Relisting a thread is the new bump. You do it 10 days (30 days now). If you say you want a daily bump, what guarantee is there that 20 people wont bump after you and push your trade back to page 2 again?

1. These things are available under the features tab. These are not features and the vital info like location, warranty etc should be visible in the main listing not under any tab.
2. I know iTrader is not working but is it possible to add the past total iTrader rating below a member's id in classifieds? In that way members dealing in the classifieds will have some idea about the others member's credibility.
