The new CS system look good to me.

#Renegade, can you implement another feature : attach image from already uploaded image links.

One of my listing is going to end soon, so should i reopen it will all the details, or the previous can be edited.

#Renegade, can you include another two Mandatory field : Shipping Charge and Accessories Included ??

It will be helpful.

Can you people summarize/mention the best features that you liked in both the current market and the previous market system. We are compiling a list and don't want to miss out anything.

The amount of activity in the Market section has gone down considerably since the switch, if the case was vice versa than i should have been the black sheep for creating this thread and whinning about the new Market section but thats not the case, i think i can speak for everyone not happy with the new market. We were all quite happy and content with the old market, and as i said earlier that "I if aint broke then dont fix it" but you guys still went ahead and tinkered around with the perfect setup all in the name of change, of course new features, refinements, revisions and innovations are always welcome but they should be incorporated over a period of time so that users can adapt and get used to changes, but you guys replaced the whole thing in one go, there was no time to adapt and get used to, the most important thing is the interface and layout, can someone tell me what was wrong with the old layout? what was wrong with the old colour scheme? what was wrong with anything old market that you had to give it a complete and unnecessary overhaul? Seriously guys the new Market is really struggling, please do something about it.

Care to explain what's wrong with the current 'layout'?

Guys there is no point repeating the same story again and again. We have said we are looking into it. If you have inputs on what I specifically asked then please do share. Otherwise we will go ahead and do what we feel is correct.

You have been blinded by the dark side

Reported posts, threads with incomplete information, OT posts, dead threads, etc. have 'gone down considerably since the switch'. I don't think implementing all the new features which make this possible can be done through regular threads.

Classifieds activity will take time while people get the hang of it (most can't figure out how to unlock access yet), and till the old Market section is open.. but its picking up pace.

I find the new market, much better actually. Classifieds are much well laid out and better organised. Finding things is much easier. The sub forums specially along with the categories, are much easier to browse through.

Great job i must say!

Some pointers of old and new market :-

1. Incomplete information .

2. No pictures. : This does come under the incomplete information but worth mentioning

3. This is a tech forum and Market should not be merged. Now "New Content" Does not show these market posts. Better I say.

4. Free bumps : "Good price " ; "Awesome Bro" kind of useless posts removed.

5. I think sellers have a advantage now . No low balling and all negotiations via PM. We dont want to see you trying to low-ball.

My feelings too. I liked the new layout & I was hoping people would like it more cos it is refreshing and also something like eBay/quickr.

Great work guys

Is the new market different from classifieds? And please don't point me to a FAQ or some random post. I've already tried visiting them and am getting a permission denied issue.

No ways to point out any price inaccuracies, or even dispute claims of the seller regarding product's warranty or related stuff. Unrelated members cannot contribute information for the uninitiated in order to make an informed choice.

Clearly seller has an advantage.

If you have any concerns about the validity of the claims of a seller regarding a product, you can always ask a public question. About the price, well its the sellers decision to quote whatever price he thinks is appropriate and in the end its the buyers decision to buy something at a price quoted by the seller. When has something which was quoted an unfair price ever gotten sold? Its the buyers duty to verify such things beforehand, and the public questions that would have been raised are there to aid the buyer in this decision.
