only issue i have with it is the much higher stock voltage, resulting in much higher power consumption

6950 2gb is far more VFM.

1. The aditional memory will help in some of today's games and almost all future games. 1GB will cripple to its knees soon. 2GB will be good to go.

2. Slightly better performance at the moment but huge performance difference in the future

3. 2GB costs just 16k, 1GB costs around 15k or so. The 2GB card is a no brainer!

4. Many 6950 2GB cards can unlock to 6970 too, which again makes the 2gb cards a no brainer!
