I know it's not a good thing to merge all the games in one thread, but I couldn't find a dedicated thread for the first 2 games. Since I have started Fall of Man and will soon hop onto it's sequel, I don't want to end up creating 2 different threads. So I pronounce this thread as the holy union of all the Resistance games. If anyone has any objections, speak now or forever hold your peace!
NO! Alrighty then! Let's get into it. I know it's way too late to play this age old game (which was probably the launch title for the PS3), but I don't see any reason why I can't enjoy it.
Having played the demo (and enjoyed it), I definitely felt compelled in playing the full game. What I love about this game is that it's not run-n-gun, well it is, but very mildly. There is no HEALTH REGENERATION and thank Insomniac for that. It instantly makes the game more challenging, like the good 'ol Call of Duty. So you go blindly guns blazing and your ass is grass. I died around 3-4 times in the 'Alleyway' part of York level, which is just the beginning. The game definitely demands proper cover and shoot mechanism and for once, it's not the Gears of War cover system.
The final version looks much better to the lousy demo version. Demo had some serious blurring and tearing issues. But this is a bit sharper and decent looking. For the people who have played this game, how long is the SP campaign on Normal difficulty?
