Hi guys,

Seeing a lot of enthusiasts coming up to speed with hardware purchases and a zeal of overclocking, I thought this might be just possible. Goal:

Get TechEnclave's name into the Futuremark ORBs

A few entries here and there will create a lot of well deserved publicity for TE and it will not hurt a bit. With recent purchases of dual core opterons and high end graphic cards so I think this is within reach now.

Lets give this a shot guys. I know we can do it.

Nice idea Kido :) DJ, Jaber(the confirmed guys who are getting the X1900XT), please do post in the ORB database and add a link to TE or something like that

I suggest we make a requirement (actually in the end its upto the end user) but having something like:

*TechEnclave.com* Switch :hap2: All air ORB quest!

in the top15 or 20 would rock the world.....

PS: Switch :P used just as an example, he need a 3 Ghz dual opty to do any benching :D

GF, a 17K was posted on ORB 05 some time back using only air (actually extreme air, with 2 220 CFM fans pointing at a pair of oced 7800GTX cards) and a water cooled fx 57 (@ 3.3Ghz)

btw OCZ's phase is gonna retail @ $200-$350.......
 
LN2? anyone should be ashamed if 3ghz is all he can manage on opty with ln2 :P

you dont need ln2 to go 3ghz. I have already booted my 165 at 3ghz ;) but its not stable as of now.

Will post screenies in the oc thread later on next attempt. this was very short attempt.

I will start posting on orb with my 7800GT

But we need few standard posting rules.

Like everyone should put tag "Team Techenclave" or something similar.

I concur...... I am happy ppl like my idea. We just need a organized effort and I dont see a top10 spot too far off. Yes *Team Techenclave* sounds nice :D

Funky, make sure u post on ORB 06, cuz that will really use the dual opty to the max :D
 
And experts like Funky, DJ, Darky, can really exploit the potential of their Optys to the max!!!

Come on TEAM TECHENCLAVE!!!!

See my idea is, instead of showing them off in the signatures because of the rules of TE, lets actually put it to some use. Use them to earn global reputation points for the forum we love! :hap2: :hap2:

All those who believe that its not a bull headed idea (hmm a few names who might oppose as always pops to mind) do post you comments here. Its a way forwards, as I see it....

Errrrr I missed out. From now on will try do that.
