    • CPU - Intel Xeon CPU E3-1230 v3 (3.3 GHz, 4C, 8P)
    • Motherboard – Gigabyte H97M-D3H
    • GPU – AMD Radeon R9 270x
    • RAM – Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4GB x 2)
    • PSU – Seasonic (wattage not checked)
    • Monitor – AOC 22” FHD
    • Cabinet – Deepcool Tesseract

  4. Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
    • CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8GHz 6C12T L1384 L2-6MB L3-32MB
    • Motherboard - Gigabyte B650 Gaming X Ax V2 Am5 Atx
    • RAM - Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 CL30
    • SSD - Crucial P3 Plus 1TB, PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe, M.2 2280
    • PSU - Cooler Master MWE 750 V2 230V SMPS - 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze
    • Anything else if I may be missing...
  5. Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • GPU – Use onboard as of now, will upgrade slightly later
  6. Buying Preferences - Mumbai or Online
  7. Intended Use of PC - Browsing and General Use (70%) and Gaming, Architectural and Graphic Softwares (30%)
  8. Brand Preferences - Will go with popular brands as long with max. warranty provision
  9. Games - I am seriously out of the Gaming world since the time of Far Cry 4, Battlefield or thereabouts, thus have to restart with a compatible PC configuration
  10. Preferred Resolution - Gaming - 1280x720, Desktop - 1440x900
  11. Looking to overclock? - Depends, if I ever feel the speed is lower.
  12. Operating system - Windows 7 64 bit

Since not going to use the magnanimity of the system configurations as per my usage, I am looking for some budget reductions but not reducing the future proofing of the system as much.

Selected CPU, mobo & RAM are good. I'd recommend SN770 as SSD over QLC SSD like P3 plus.

PSU - if you plan to buy a relatively high-end GPU, say a 9070XT or better, better to invest in a better PSU like MSI A750GL for 7.5k.

Solid recommendation for SN770. That being said he's looking to game at 720p apparently so he won't need a beefy PSU. I don't know why maybe because he thinks his upgraded PC won't be able to game at 1080p?

A 50k budget gaming PC made today will easily be able to game at 1080p, maybe even 1440p in some games (although you won't need it because your monitor is at 1080p). Ryzen 7600 is great but you will need a GPU equally powerful to reap benefits of it. Otherwise stick with older AM4 platform with something like Ryzen 5600 and save some money to buy a better GPU. By staying with older gen you save money everywhere. Ryzen 5600 (or intel equivalent) + Better GPU > Ryzen 7600 + Worse GPU.
Now if you are sure you will be able to pair the Ryzen 7600 with a good GPU. Anything 40k INR or above then stick with it otherwise Ryzen 5600 is the better budget choice. May I also suggest buying used/pre-owned GPU if you are on a tight budget, It will highly depend on how much you want to spend on it but you can get a really good GPU for 1080p gaming.
One more thing, You will need to upgrade to Windows 10 at least if you want to play some recent games. I know games which will not run on Windows older than 10, either due to stupid limitation set by game developers themselves or some requirement that's only available on newer Windows like 10. (Even windows 10 is officially reaching EOL (end-of-life) in October this year so might as well install 11 since you will be installing fresh)
 
I would recommend the following changes to your build:
  1. Better to get the Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX, has better features at a lower price. Better VRMS, PCIE-5 support for M.2.
  2. As mentioned by OMEGA44-XT, better to go for a TLC/MLC drive than a QLC one. Something like a WD SN580/SN770 is better.
  3. As for the PSU, unless you want a 80+ Gold PSU for higher tier cards(5070Ti/9070XT), the one you picked is enough.

I do not plan to purchase an ultra expensive GPU... something moderate should be enough. I can look at changing the SSD to WD SN580/ SN770

1. Thanks for MoBo suggestion, does have distinct advantage as against an 8-9K prince advantage at about 15.5K.
2. Realized and changed config to WD SN580/SN770.
3. Thanks, idea is to get a mid-end GC.
This is the current pricing of the configuration so far... I did forget the CPU cooler... which added another 2.5K on the price... still costing me around 58K with additional GC and Monitor upgrade left for later...

What is a mid range GPU according to you?

7800XT is great for 1080p + 1440p gaming at 45k & 27" 1440p 180Hz monitor costs like 17k these days.

For something cheap, used 3060Ti at 16k is solid.

I don't think you need an aftermarket cooler for that 7600 if all you are going to do is gaming and general use, It's just a 65W TDP processor. If you find out the stock one is not enough buy it afterwards. Also hyper 212 is good but there are alternatives, for cheaper there's Deepcool Gammaxx 400 (which is actually better than hyper 212 in temp but worse in noise) or if you want a beefier one with just slightly more cost than hyper 212 there's Ant Esports ICE-C621, Double fan double fins setup for this one but you can add an extra fan on those single fan ones as well if you need extra cooling.

Also since you are outside the budget yourself can you tell us your updated budget?

Thanks.... what a bummer... will do Monitor 1440P for about 15K, GC something under 20K... basically use this outside of my office laptop for everything else at home, which is restricted on the other... gives an additinal machine for anyone at home to use and will finally not boot up like a snail like my current one :)

Reasons for choosing the following components:
  1. Motherboard - The VRMs are enough to even run a 7950X. Since you wouldn't be updating to a top of the line processor, this is enough. Has 2.5Gbps LAN, Dual Channel Memory support, PCIE Gen5 M.2.
  2. GPU - Since you didn't have the budget to stretch to a 7800XT, and since gaming is only 30% of your use case a 3060 with 12GB of VRAM should suffice for future needs.
  3. PSU - Its a B tier PSU which has more than enough juice to run any mid tier card.
  4. Cabinet - Budget cases, with good enough build quality, and has pre-included fans.
  5. Monitor - One of the best budget 1440P monitors available in the market around 15k. There are some CC offers running in Amazon which would bring down the cost to 15.4K
  6. CPU cooler - Budget cooler which is sufficient enough to cool a 65W TDP processor.

If you are able to apply CC offers then buy that monitor otherwise you can buy this instead. Both models are pretty much the same thing minus the stand and a few minor details that I don't remember even though I have discussed about it on this exact forum.
P.S I do not think RTX 3060 is powerful enough of a card to run games at 1440p, At least not the recent demanding ones. Refer to the GPU hierarchy chart. A used 3060 TI/3070 will be a better deal and cheaper.
