The game supposedly debuts this month-end so let's have a dedicated thread for the title as well. :)

It is developed by Team Tachyon. The company is a subsidiary of Tecmo, akin to Team Ninja which developed the very successful and insanely easy <<sarcasm intended>> Ninja Gaiden franchise and the DOA franchise.

This is the seemingly their first title which would make it to the X and the PS3.

The game looks very similar to GeOW from the screenshots. Not sure if there's co-op gameplay but there's another character apart from the primary protagonist.

Gameplay demo from Gamespot - Quantum Theory TGS 09 Gameplay Demo - GameSpot Video

I played the Demo the other day...and the GAMEPLAY really sucked...it even got 1.5 / 5 rating on PSN Store

The aiming n movement were all clunky....the guns were not to effective against the onslaught of the enemies and the main factor for that was the colour palette used, as it was difficult to notice any enemy where they r hiding....whereas GeOW did gr8 in the same colour palette :P

I just saw the video preview of this game and it's a complete Gears clone. It's the same feeling which I had during it's initial gameplay screening and nothing has changed since then. Couldn't try the XBL demo as available only for the NA audience for now and is region locked. But something tells me, I'm better off avoiding it. :P

What is this :P I thought people were discussing something about Quantum Theory not some shit game named Quantum theory

Anyone wanna discuss Relativity... :D

The game seems to suck donkey balls from the previews. So much for the Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V from GeOW. :|

It is sad they have choose Quantum Theory as a name to some shitty game (assuming the reviews). What next Newton's Laws, Faraday's Laws, Bose-Einstein Equation, Heisenberg's Principle? they should stop naming games after theories of physics because they want to sound cool.

'Chaos Theory' - I have lost the count how many times this was used in games, movies et al. Inspite of having a cool name, it is basically solving loads of complex differential equations.
