PC Peripherals The Real Difference between PC150 and PC155's?

Hey guys, well im planing to buy good headphones for gaming.
My choices are limited to arounbd 50 dollars.

I thought why not the PC150's then.
But PC155's, USB, are like double the price. Why?

I thought that USB is only the interface, and that the sound is rendered in the Sound Card itself and just sent through the USB Port.
Some peole say this.
Some people say that the sound is rendered in the USB Sound Card.

If so whats the real difference and is it worth the 100 dollars?

as far as i know, most usb headphones have their own soundcard. The only reason it would be worth the extra money is if you are a freak for audio quality and want the same during tournaments with comps with onboard sound.
 
The monk is right, however, don't expect 24-bit high definition sound... if you are big on audio quality get an external soundcard to carry for tourneys.
 
get the pc150. & even if u get the pc155 u are going to play the same in 1.6 & css both. pc150 are good enough. otherwise pickup the dsp500. they are usb & are crazy.
