The Samsung Monte S5620 at 9.3k!!

The new Samsung monte S5620 looks like excellent vfm-3g, wi-fi, GPS, 3.2 MP cam, et al at just Rs. 9349!! whaddaya think folks??
P.S. It looks so much better than, say, the Jet or the Star...

I dont think you can compare this cheap looking S5620 with Jet, Jet still is incomparable for it,s

800 MHz processor
5 megapixel auto focus camera with dual-LED
Monte has a dubious 3 MP Cam without any Auto focus for which there isnt even a LED Light. & Now that the Jet can be had for almost 13k- it is the best value in all round Mobile there is.

if this phone has the same UI that samsung star has, then just avoid this phone. Given that Nokia is releasing four new symbian phones (c3, c4, c6, e5) with S60 OS, this samsung phone will soon be history!

You got me wrong dude, i meant that the monte's looks are much better than those of most samsung phones in the sub 15k price bracket. You're totally right when you say that it cannot compare with the jet in any other aspect!

This phone is supposed to have a tweaked version of their propriety TouchWiz UI. To be fair to samsung, it's been improving a lot in each incarnation since the Star...but it really can't compare with symbian S60 v5
