There is a plan. However, I would appreciate it if Safin can rename the work in progress section to something more suitable, entire section being pushed up, portal system is up and running. Rest of things is something I would be discussing with Safin once the needful is done.
 
@ The Sorcerer: Shouldn't you get a badge or something?? And your username should be some other colour as well. That would be cool!
 
Nah i think its best if i dont get a badge or colour or all that decoration or else next time someone else will call me a politician :P. In any case, I am just representing the forum and doing stuff like contests and all- not a mod job.
 
^Why don't you pm us the gmods with what all you want from our side. You won't be able catch Safin anytime soon.
 
^^ I think I did say this to Saiyan ((at the same time when he asked if I would interested to be a "media rep" but then community rep thing came and didn't see any difference so its all good)) via PM.
 
The Admins already have a plan for the portal, they're just waiting for a crucial piece from a third-party source which is not under their control.

In any case, is there a reason the portal would slow down the contests?

I asked Saiyan about your PM to him, he doesn't recall any. Maybe re-send it to him.
