Good read, how young coders in DOGE including a Indian origin, outsmarted the bureaucrats. The deepstate wasn't prepared for this.

What PR? There was such a program planned for India. What we want to know is it's intent.

Yes this was always public knowledge but what actually gets discussed in media is decided by politicians and their actions. You can go to internet archive yourself and see that the details of all this expense was always there.

Now we know budget was allocated, see previous question

And $21mn is a miniscule amount.

Still need to know the intent. Who is the best party to answer? Person(s) responsible for allocation of that amount.

Also don't assume there were no other Indian projects paid for earlier by USAID.

For now we don't know much. Only tip of the iceberg is showing.

I agree with the foreign office that its a 'deeply troubling' development.
