Worth checking out the entire press conference for context.
Opposition is saying Trump & Vance set Z up and pounced on him. Not true.
Here is a good summary of what happened.
Z got himself kicked out of the WH. There was no rare earths deal signing that he came for. He won't be having dinner with Trump. Other than the one interview he gave to Fox all his other engagements have been cancelled and he's leaving for home.
Amazing how candid this was. Great TV as Trump said. This is what went on behind closed doors except Z was dumb enough to dare Trump on American TV (!)
Any one have any doubts where this is going? Not really. Everyone got the message.
Zelensky is on his way out after this dressing down.
On a side note, a TASS reporter was escorted out of the Oval office because TASS was not on the approved media list for the days press pool.
More notable, established wireline services like Reuters and the Associated Press weren't allowed into the Oval either for this conference. That has to be a first.

If not Trump than MAGA inner circle seems to be definitely compromised. They did a 180 flip on US foreign policy. This is why politicization of foreign policy is never a good idea. For all the hate the "deep state" gets you don't get such uncertainty and recklessness with them.
This is something I don't like with current Indian government too, they are happy to wade into partisan politics of other countries to undermine domestic rivals, even if it keeps blowing up in their face very frequently.

Why is Trump being blamed for his conduct here which is entirely justified when he wasn't responsible for this war in the first place.
They already work with China. Which other sizable economy can they work with.
See, once India crosses the $5 trillion GDP figure. You enter a different space.
You cannot be ignored. This applies in many areas. Everyone wants you on their side because India's weight tips the balance in their favour.
Because there are no other economies to tap that will reach India's size anytime soon.

Obviously cannot blame DTrump, but he represent as USA's leader, not as an individual. So, like it or hate it, he have to take the responsibility of past policies and actions of that country.
Same with current supporters of Ukraine.

While Trump wants to bring peace or end the war by bringing a ceasefire Zelenskyy only wants more weapons & billions of dollars so that he can sell those weapons in black market & transfer those billions to shell companies for future use. Bastard. He says that he cannot give proof of where 350 billion went when Trump asked him about it and also says that Biden gave a grant and he does not need to pay back. Parasite of man.

I don't get this morbid support from UK, France & Germany to pay for Ukrainians to die endlessly.
Why did it require Trump that too over three years later.
This has a personal angle for me as I lost a friend who got drafted into some militia only to discover months later she was no more. I remember one of her last posts. It was a wheat field with a blue sky. That is what the Ukrainian flag represents.
She was ex-IDF so had the skills and got manipulated into fighting the Russians. Ukraine doesn't care for its people. I'd rather she died defending Israel instead. People matter in that country.
She was a mod and someone fluent in Arabic, Hebrew & Russian was useful to have around. I could never get over other people supporting her in this decision.
What was the alternative? Become an alcoholic for life because you didn't want to support one of your countries even if it meant near certain death.
This was back in 2015 when I was completely clueless as to what was going on there. Had I known then what I know now, I'd have told her to leave for Israel.
