He is literally hawking cars infront of the white house.

I feel like I am ****ing high watching this lmao.
Not just any car.

But environmentally friendly cars ostensibly that the hypocritical left boycotted in a futile attempt to cancel Musk because of his political choices. Earlier they were perfectly fine with him & Tesla was the poster child of green friendly cars that is until Musk made his views public.

Glad to see them getting called out and their tactics backfire at the highest levels.

How is that hypocrisy? Have they changed their views on electric cars in general? Have they changed their views on politics? Elon is the one who has changed his views (which is also fine). But if he has decided to openly participate in politics of course his companies will get dragged in it.

This has nothing to do with politics, Tesla sales have been cratering globally due to their poor quality and because Chinese manufacturers like BYD provide better quality cars for cheaper, just look at their sales figures in Europe over the last 2-3 years.

If they are into electric cars then why boycott his brand? Why attack his factories in Europe

It's hypocritical because they make an exception only for his brand. Are his cars no longer environmental?
But if he has decided to openly participate in politics of course his companies will get dragged in it.
How does that change anything?

People are free to buy whatever. Why the boycott then.

If these people make a big deal about their environment ideology then they are the hipocrites.

The boycott is what I'm referring to

He's doubling his production rate in the US ?

Oh and I see this plug as no different to his advocacy of McDonald's

End of the day he's the top sales guy for the country

They are making a political statement which they are allowed to do. There are plenty other electric cars out there. You are not able to explain how it is hypocritical. If they started buying diesel trucks then you could have said this. If they feel like supporting Tesla will empower Elon then it makes perfect sense that they would stay away from his brand.

Isn't it obvious?

If you can contradict your ideological beliefs to 'make a political statement' then you don't really believe in your so called ideology to start with.

If they started buying diesel trucks then you could have said this.
That's one of example but not the only one

By saying go environmental just not with Elon :hilarious:

Say whatever, but damaging private property in a capitalist country in not right way to protest. If they don't want to buy the product, that is fine but they shouldn't be baring others from buying the product.
They can and should protest against Elon's political ideas, but not damage random people's cars on the road, burn down Tesla showrooms, etc.
Imagine this happening in our own country and bulldozers may role.
