It's not meant for everyone's consumption , he could've fired Fauci when he could but he didn't, now he's just dangling carrots to his truth social fanbase just like he did last month with the Epstein files, JFK files, etc
End result is, nothing ever comes of it as usual.

Fauci is a big pharma plant. Trump couldn't fire Fauci.

I'm not holding my breath for anything here either but it's a change in official position that is to be noted. What that can lead to is unknown.

Earlier, in Biden's term their Intel people (from all 16 orgs) made a statement and there was no consensus so the statement wasn't meaningful.

We got lots of dramatic questioning from the opposition but Fauci got through it unscathed

There's a lot of pent up emotions here because people have lost loved ones and there is no recourse. I wouldn't call it eyewash for that reason.

My understanding is Fauci encouraged China to do this kind of research and would provide the necessary expertise. An op-ed by him in WAPO dated 2012 since removed explains his rationale. The comments were interesting as he got accused for playing God and there would be a price to pay.

Which makes him the prime culprit but no way to prove it. They outsourced the research because the laws in the country banned it and for good reason. It doesn't matter how good your safety protocols as there is a history of lab leaks worldwide going back decades. This sort of research is too dangerous and the only safe way is not to do it.

What nobody considered and this is criminally negligent is you tweak a virus to be super infectious so you can come up with counter medications but forget it could get out. In China they don't care as the rules didn't prohibit such research. But it's very clear China did care because they shut down Wuhan quickly so nobody could leave to local areas but allowed foreign citizens to fly out without restriction. So China is responsible for the spread of the virus but I think they got an unofficial waiver from the US in case of a leak for their troubles.

So nothing more can be done...

Whether the WH admission changes things remains to be seen. Will people now sue the government since there is some admission here?

If they simply cannot follow the money and list out the main benefactors, it's an eyewash no matter how you spin it.
Nothing new has been speculated or revealed, just like the Epstein and JFK files.
Like I said already, that page is not intended for people with capacity to think. It's just China bad, Biden bad, Fauci bad but oopsie no Big Pharma lol.

Because such accusations will come with lawsuits and we don't want that. Big pharma spends loads lobbying exactly so this doesn't happen.
