I doubt it would rise in India and if they rise elsewhere then it's an opportunity for our drug companies.

What we need to be careful about is every US president since Clinton and upto Trump has tried to screw with our pharma and make it more profitable to American pharma. We've resisted so far.

Bush was the only US president that didn't interfere and the results is AIDS medication prices crashing through the floor thanks to Indian drugs and a lot of people around the world living with AiDs instead of not.

United States and China on May 12 agreed to a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs and that reciprocal rates would drop by 115 percentage points.

After high-stakes trade talks in Geneva, US said it will slash tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30% for 90 days while China said it will reduce tariffs on US goods from 125% to 10% for 90 days. US, China said they will change tariff rates by May 14.

Everyone ie.west is afraid Rafale may get the mega deal with India after the navy variant sale provided we get the source code to mate weapons of our choice with the Rafale. There is also the possibility of an MRO centre (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) so we fix our own jets.

So everybody is siding with the Paks & China to trash the French.

We're not going to reconsider some other jet at this point. Nobody is going to be fooled in India with this stunt.

You are thinking that they have declared a reduction of 115%. That's not what they declared, that's just the headline. Here is the joint statement:

As you can see they are declaring that the 34% tariff on China declared when Trump bought out the chart of countries is now down by 24% to 10%. And ALL tariffs imposed since then are rolled back. That includes 145, 245, or any other made up inconsequential stuff Trump said on twitter that no one took seriously in the first place other than MAGAtards. The 30% number comes from 10% + 20% tariff Trump had declared before the chart day, for fentanyl or something.

Until the UK FTA scotch had an 150% tariff. Was that 'imaginary' or a straight up embargo?

It was not imaginary as I've shown. And The article I quoted mentioned a drop by 115
