Hey Guys,

I have recently build a HTPC for myself and i was in the process of setting it up. The shell which i am using to run the HTPC is XBMC and there are loads of tweaks and addons which are available for the HTPC which i yet have to explore.

I am sure lots of you must have already tweaked your XBMC setups for that perfect HTPC. Till now what i have learned is how to organize the Media(Videos) properly. That includes Movies, Videos(Downloaded from the web) as well as TV shows. Wiki as well as you tube has lots of tutorials to do that.

I wanted to know whats a good skin for the XBMC. I am currently using Night which you can download directly inside of the latest build of the XBMC but i wanted to install showmix for which i could not find a tut. What all other good addons are available which one should get for the XBMC. Also is there a torrent addon for the XBMC which lets you download inside of the XBMC.I would mainly like to download latest episodes as soon as they are released.

I am used to the pm3 (or something) skin. Used to be default with xbmc from the original xbox days. Clean and simple.

I started using sharethe.tv add-on a few days back. Let's you share your movie listing with others. For example this

I am trying out a few scrappers but am not getting something that I would like to use. How have you arranged your media?
 
Nice initiative, thank you Switch for this thread and mates pls provide your inputs. Myself started using XBMC only a couple of weeks before and am so far using only the standard features. Even then the hardware acceleration, add-ons, skin, WMC remote compatibility, youtube and many more standard features itself are really amazing. Compared to WMC, the startup time and playback are nearly instant with XBMC. Still am in the exploring state and shall provide my inputs whenever possible. Cheers.
