I am going to attempt the xbox 360 RROD fix
I was thinking of using artic cooling MX-2.
But before that i have to remove thermal paste already xbox360 heatsink
SO which thermal paste remover should i use.
1}Please suggest a reliable and cheap thermal paste remover.
2}Also is mx-2 better?? Or should i go for another thermal paste(it should be <rs500).

If you already own MX-2, then its good enuf.

AS5 isnt recommended as its electrically conductive and is dangerous[ only safe on CPU, that too if applied carefully].

i wud sway Tuniq TX-3. One of the world's best TIM. its conductivity is almost 3 times better than MX-2 [2.5 vs 6.5]. Its con papacitive, and non conductive like MX-2 and better performer to. go for it.

Thanks to all for the Thermal paste remover advice

I read some review TX-3 is definetly worth buying What will be approx price of Tuniq TX-3 in mumbai ?

AS5 and MX-2 are old champions. Now there are better TIMs in market, like the TX-3, OCZ freeze and thermalright chillfactor 2, Arctic Cooling MX-3.

TX-3 got great appreciations across the world. Go for it. Worth the 475/-.

Bought Tuniq TX-3 for Rs 450/-(prime abgb)
Isopropyl alcohol for Rs 26/-

and just asked the other thermal paste price
artic silver 5 for Rs 400/-
TX-2 for Rs 200/-

Again thank u all for ur reply
