Ever burnt your croth so bad after using your laptop for hours that you wondered if you could ever reproduce in the future? Here's your chance to aid in India's population growth! No need to be paranoid about developing prostate cancer and having a lower sperm count (no official proof) by using your laptop on your lap for hours anymore.
Typically, iXoft is a fanless laptop cooling solution, it looks like a mouse pad on first look actually. Just place it between your lap and your laptop and your laptop temp will drop by almost 10 degrees.

Pros:

light in weight (only 640g)
silent operation
no power required
no fans
no wires
Portable for carrying in your laptop bag. Foldable
Will work with laptops having screen size between 12" to 17"

I've used many laptop cooling devices in the past and I generally would have 2 problems with them 1. Portability - Most of them were tough to carry around in your laptop bag 2. Power Consumption - I hate the USB powered ones that will consume my oh so dear battery. Thermaltake, the pioneers in cooling have come up with a small and flexible (thus portable) work of genius. It doesn't even require any power. So how on earth does it work you ask? read on
[BREAK=Working]
Sandwiched in between two layers of synthetic sheets are solid bead-like materials. These bead-like materials are constructed from a special substance called Sodium Sulfate DecaHydrate. These solid crystals start to liquify as heat is applied to them (when you are using your laptop) and they store the heat inside them. When you are done with your work, the liquid gel will start to dissipate the absorbed heat and as it cools the liquid gel will solidify. So after a hard days work on the laptop, you could remove the iXoft and promptly apply it to your neck and shoulders for a nice heating pad effect.
