Eidos Montreal has confirmed that the next game in the series, also stylised as Thi4f will release on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox one and the Xbox 360 together.
Eidos Montreal community manager Adam Badke wrote - "Since Thief's announcement for a 2014 release on high end PC and next-gen platforms, we've received a huge number of questions from community members wondering if the Thief experience would ever be available for their current generation consoles."
"Yep, it's official! Thief is now confirmed for PS3 and Xbox 360 – in addition to PC, PS4 and Xbox One! " continued Badke. "And, as importantly, the game will ship for ALL platforms simultaneously."

The seventh and current gen versions of the game are being developed in the Montreal studios of Eidos itself, and the PC version is being made by Nixxes Software, a company based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
All the versions of the game will launch next year, in 2014.
