Thinking, Need Some Help, Should I Buy These Games?

Well, you guys always go on about HL, and i was thinking, i didn't get to complete the first one for the DC, i never got around to it...

Well, ive seen it in the shops today for only £4 thats farely cheap, (I'no its an old game) but i was just thinking, ive played and nearly finished the second one, on my friends Xbox, but i dont know whether to buy it??

Also, i was wondering, "Farenheit"(I think thats how its spelt) Is this game worth buying?? i have had mixed comments on this game, some people wouldnt reccommend but some would, what do you think??

And Last One, I did complete the first Red Faction, But i never got around to the second one, ("Yeah Im A Bit Behind") is this also worth buying???

Please help me out, i really would like to know.

Could You guys rate the three games one by one on a scale of 10 and also comment on the game itself?? Thanks!!
 
Whoa!! A fellow red faction fan..

HL1-Give this an 8/10.Great gameplay but since you played HL2,maybe you might lose interest when you see the graphics.

RF2- 8.5/10,since I feel tht the 1st one is better in terms of storyline but RF2 is a great time-killer and plus it has some great bot behavior in Multiplayer.

Didn't play farenheit so can't rate it.

Can't wait for RF3..hope it's more destructible

Farenheit, thats the dearest game, £15, dunno whether i should buy it... any other member who can sumerise???
 
rf1 is very long and good...being sold for 300 by evalue games

farenheight also worth it if tht cost<500

hl1+both expansions also worth is if <500
 
You can't miss Indigo Prophecy (aka Fahrenheit).

When they say videogames are like movies, you can't get closer to it than Indio Prophecy, no doubt about it. This is one dark themed supernatural adventure game that'll stay with me for a long time.

Also, the soundtrack rocks. Santa Monica from Theory Of A Deadman (the game's official song) is one of the very few rock songs I love.
 
HL gets better when gordon goes into another dimension its really awesome...that game is my fav game of all time
 
if ur planning to buy half life 1 wait for a while and play Black Mesa it on the source engine 2 which was used to make Left 4 Dead
Black mesa is same as halflife but with more awsome looking graphic scary looking head crabs and monsters if u still wana play HL1 then buy the HL2 pack u get HL1 with source engine improved gfx and HL2 water effects

How's Indigo Prophecy for PC? Saw this game in the nearby Planet M selling for 499 Rs. Is this game worth playing or a badly done console port...???
 
just started playing farhenheit, its awesome, it really gets you stuck-in!

it really does have a movie feel to it, its almost like your controlling the movie, the way you interact with things and people changes everyones moods and stuff its really good!... i was in the apartment and i drunk loads of gin, and he went and popped himself, the crazy basterd chucked himself off the balconey, the depression meter said he was wrecked:D:P

this game is a must have!!! i love it! even though it is old!:P:D
 
farenheight is very good

te controls are a bit clumsy but you dont need fast responses

ull be using the mouse for interacting and fixed camera view helps

The PC should give the same experience as the consoles, they've all got the same ratings.
