I could suggest a particular model, although you'll have to go through a bunch of old and new models available in your city. The cheapest option among the current models: http://www.canon.co.in/p/EN/155-All-In-One/368-Inkjet/1173-PIXMA-MP258/ Fortunately, minor differences apart, they essentially offer the same functionality and performance in each price segment. I'm a proud owner of a Pixma MP 180 and I'm sure this model has been replaced by newer ones. Cartridge dilemma? Well, it is true that HP ones can be refilled easily, although I've heard the new ones have a chip. Ones from Canon can be tricky to refill. My honest suggestion would be to buy an original cartridge, as they (Canon ones) really do last long and offer the quality you seek.
