Whenever I go to Credits/transactions, it shows me, among other things, Credit 1.0 for thread viewed.

Now AFAIK this is the same if you view someone's thread or someone else views your thread.

So can it be possible to change thread viewed and "thread got viewed".

Nope its not the same. This is only if your thread gets viewed. No points for viewing other's threads.

One gets 1 point for viewing a thread. How does that work?

The thread starter gets 1 point if his thread get viewed. So for a 1000 thread views (unique members) you get 1000 points.

You also get one point for reading the thread. So the member who reads the thread also gets point.

The highest points are for Registration, profile completion (or just avatar upload), posting a thread and posting a reply. As these are the most value adding activities as far as contributing to the forum is concerned. You also get additional points for the length of your post/thread text. For very short replies or threads you do not get any points at all.

So basically, I get a point for every thread I read. Right?

The points for reading a thread and other unnecessary stuff like conversations was removed yesterday. Forgot to update here.
