For a past few ddays , i have been noticing that the thread views (displaying the number of views the thread has recd)aren't registering for my GO threads in both the dealer section as well as the normal GO section. Since i have'nt started a thread newhere else , i cant say whether it is limited to the market section or the whole forum. as an example , i my latest thread , which has a poll , http://www.techenclave.com/forums/poll-what-would-you-like-see-96147.html , at the time of writing , had 4 views only, while already 8 members had polled there, as well as some members had visited tehe thread without giving their vote .

Other members can check their threads and confirm this if they too are experiencing it.

Even though its not a very big problem , still it is a important tool in the Market section at least.

Hope the Admins take a note of it and do something about it.

actually i cannot confirm the above, but in my case my posts were stuck at specific point, even after submitting 10 posts in different sections, the count didnt increase. Maybe these 2 apparently diff. looking things are related.
 
maybe it was disabled while admins were looking at ways to reduce the server loads we are facing recently. please hold on till one of them confirms :)
 
i know , but the thing is they arent even registering even after an hour, like even now while i am typing , the views for the poll are 9, while around 24 guys have polled , and many have commented......so can the admins have a look at that ????
 
i think even the post count has reduced. Myine was around 1980 mark and it came down to ~1930
 
yes have passed on a message to apex, could be a problem with db, please hold on till they find a fix

Thats because post cont has been disabled in the introduction section.. :)
 
was disabled during the server load problem. word is that a vbulletin upgrade is on the cards so it should be resolved then.
 
but decreasing post count like this cuz of the sudden change in the rules any good ??..... just dun add the it to the post count now.. :S

^ this is what happens at every forum. nothing wrong here. post count wasn't really there in the introduction section, show off and general talk iirc..
