Tikona bb query

hello guys. Just today these tikona BB ppl came to my premises and asked our terrace for installing their BB equipment. They told that the speed will be 2 mbps - 8 mbps (which is not true as per the CC statement) . They are ready to offer 4 connections free of cost , provided we dont demand any rent from them for using their device in my terrace.

Now...

Can i rely on this BB ?. They say that the CPE will be wirelessly connected with their Access point ( i think) which they install in my terrace. The other end of the CPE will be connected via wire or wireless.

Now my question is, i have 2 pcs, one network printer. The CPE which they provide will have 4 ethernet ports. They told that i can simultaneously browse internet on both the PCs and i can share files too. Is this correct ??.

When asked the customer care, they said that i cant browse simultaneously . On the contrary i can register upto a max of 4 pcs and i can browse internet only in 1 PC at a time !!!.

I think those guys who came to my house arent having that knowledge about their service. They tell that they are giving 4 connections for free. If they are giving 4 individual connections i must be allowed to browse in all the 4 pcs simultaneously, right ??

I am very confused guys. Plz throw lights on the speed, CC , bills, etc guys.

i am using this broadband at home for the past 15-18 days.

the net is wireless. they install an access point at your terrace & then they will give you a wireless modem which will be in your house. you can connect to it wirelessly via laptop or wired ethernet from pc.

you can use both the laptop & the pc at the same time. I am currently using it & browsing works properly on both of them at the same time. speed will be divided.

speeds are what you pay for. i have taken the 600kb / 1mb night plan. i get 65-70kb download during daytime & 105-115kb downloads during night.
 
I guess they are shafting you by saying they are giving you 4 connections but infact they are giving only one and just referring to the 4 ethernet ports on the router they will install..

Bargain with them hard and ask them to give you a free connection (highest one) along with a rental..
 
the RUCKUS CPE ( or modem) which they provide has only 1 ethernet port mate. So where is the question of 4 connections in 4 ethernet ports ??
