Tips / Hack to stay at 5 star resorts/Hotels

Any hacks/tips to stay at 5 star Hotels like taj, Hilton etc.
any specific credit cards which offers these benefits like points . If any methods exists please share

There is nothing like free lunch. The cards that come with free stays at these hotels either require you to have a high net worth (25-50 lakhs deposits/investments in the respective bank) or high salary above 25-30lpa and either requires you to spend 10-20 lakhs on the card every year or pay 10-20k per annum in membership fees.

Instead of running behind such cards I would prefer a normal stay via booking sites. During offer periods etc. there are good discounts.

AMEX had those on their platinum series cards. The annual fee was about 10k.

High end hotels charge less during off-season time, you need to plan accordingly. Many cards have loyalty points program with which you can book hotel rooms. Basically , you will use these points instead of money for booking (ex-HDFC,AXIS cards).

If you want to stay at these hotels for special occasions, splurge for couple of nights for its ambience/experience.
